Empowering Abilities Through Social Engagement
Here are some funding options for individuals with disabilities:
Avita (Forsyth, N. GA)
Bobby Dodd has some great information, but it is not for Forsyth county
InCommunity (Fulton, Dekalb, Gwinnett, Cobb counties)
Katie Becket Waiver Under 18, must meet all requirements
NOW COMP WAIVER Ages 18 and up
Examples of what is covered: social outings, camps, recreational activities, respite care, and other services.
We are vendors with all programs and we are working on exploring how to support teens and young adults in the workplace. We have found some creative ways to make this funding work for you and your family!
For traditional therapy services, Therapy Connections accepts Medicaid, Amerigroup, CareSource and Anthem, we would explore becoming in network with others when needed. Community access funding may be used to consult with us for many reasons (e.g., IEP goal/services reviews, consultations to help with behaviors or care coordination). We are also available to update AAC devices and help you find what works best for you and your child.
