For the next month, our EdVenturers are taking on Survivor! We’ll form tribes, create flags, earn our buffs, tackle challenges, make decisions together and maybe even build a few alliances along the way. It’s all about teamwork, communication, problem solving and figuring out how to be part of a group... Social EdVentures style.
First up: Find your tribe. Design your flag. Get your buff. Let the games begin!
Survivor Series Week 2 - Scavenger Hunt EdVenture! @ Halcyon on September 8

A scavenger hunt is not just a fun and active game — it’s also a social skills powerhouse. Whether it's done in teams or pairs, indoors or outdoors, a scavenger hunt gives participants opportunities to interact, collaborate, and communicate in ways that naturally strengthen a wide range of social abilities.

What’s in the Box? Our EdVenturers will reach into mystery boxes, feel some seriously strange surprises and try to figure out what’s inside without peeking! Tribes will have to strategize, negotiate, communicate and work together to earn those immunity points.

The Final Challenge! We’re wrapping up our Survivor Series by celebrating the wins, the challenges and all the ways our EdVenturers learned to work together along the way! We’ll look back at the alliances and connections we made, the strategies that worked (and maybe a few that didn’t), and the moments when teammates stepped up, encouraged each other, compromised and figured things out together. One last chance to earn points, celebrate our tribes and finish Survivor Social EdVentures style!

Survivor Series: Younger EdVenturers!
Week 1 on September 1
For the next month, we’re bringing Survivor to our younger group with team challenges, new friendships, partners, problem solving and lots of fun along the way. We’ll learn what it means to be part of a tribe, work together, cheer each other on and practice communication through play.
First up: Build our tribes, design our flags and get our buffs!
Scavenger Hunt Week 2 on September 8
A scavenger hunt is Social EdVentures in action! Working in teams or pairs, our EdVenturers will be moving, searching, problem solving, communicating and figuring things out together. Real-world skills, new connections and plenty of fun along the way!

Torch Ceremony Week 4 on September 22
Celebrate the wins, teamwork and connections we’ve built along the way! We’ll look back at the challenges, strategies and moments when EdVenturers worked together, supported one another and helped their tribe succeed. A chance to recognize not just what we accomplished, but how we got there together.

For middle school through young adults, this night is all about showing up, feeling comfortable, and connecting without the pressure. Our Silent Disco creates a fun, low-stress space where they can move, laugh, and be themselves while naturally building confidence and friendships. Wear your party clothes and come ready for a great night.
