JUNE
Poolside EdVenture on June 2nd
4070 Tivoli Way, Alpharetta, GA
This is more than just swimming and water fun. It is a guided social experience designed to help young adults build confidence in real-world social experiences.
Participants will practice:
Starting and maintaining conversations
Accepting an invitation to a peer’s home and the expectations that accompany this.
Navigating social relationships as social coaching occurs during this fun, relaxed atmosphere in a new environment.
Understanding social expectations in public spaces
Bring a towel and wear a swimsuit if you want to swim — or just dip your feet in and hang poolside with friends!
Social Walk @ Avalon to Alpharetta on June 9th
Drop-off: 6:00 PM @ 900 3rd Street, Alpharetta, GA 30009
Pick-up: 7:15 PM @ 10 Park Plaza, Alpharetta, GA 30009 (Alpharetta Library)
We’ll provide a simple grab-and-go dinner before setting out on a relaxed group walk from Avalon to downtown Alpharetta. Along the way, we’ll chat, take in some fresh air, and wrap up with a sweet treat ice cream or a drink at Kilwin’s!
Group walks are a great way to practice conversation and connection without the pressure of a formal setting. Movement helps ease anxiety, supports regulation, and creates space for natural social interaction.
Wear comfortable shoes/clothes for walking. Bring money if you plan on purchasing ice cream or drink.
Fitness Social @ The Hall on June 16th

Join us for a feel-good night of movement, connection, and fun!
We’ll start with a light dinner, then jump into a guided fitness session designed for all levels — no experience needed. This is a great way to boost energy, practice regulation, and connect with peers.
Participants will practice:
Starting and maintaining conversations while working on improving health.
Encouraging others to push through things that are hard, while accepting compliments as participants engage through group fitness.
Bring a mat, towel, and water bottle.
Social Sip and Paint @ The Hall on June 23rd

Unwind, connect, and get creative with us!
We’ll enjoy a guided painting experience that’s all about expression, connection, and fun — no pressure, no art skills required. It’s a great way to support fine motor skills, boost confidence, and enjoy good company in a relaxed setting.
Light dinner provided and fun drinks provided.
Hang Out @ Halcyon on June 30th

This is more than just going out to eat. It is a guided social experience designed to help teens and young adults build confidence in real-world settings.
Participants will practice:
Starting and maintaining conversations
Navigating group outings
Ordering food and interacting with staff
Waiting and flexibility in a busy environment
Understanding social expectations in public spaces
Bring money for food, drinks, or a snack.

Hang Out @ The Gym on July 7th
We Rock the Spectrum Alpharetta - 6455 Shiloh Rd, Suite B1
Low key connections in a sensory safe and friendly environment.
Feel good night of simply hanging out with friends in a cool space with music and movement.
Participants will practice:

Bring socks to access the gym.
Hibachi Experience @ Ichiban Steak and Sushi on July 14th

This fun night of a hibachi experience that has been requested for some time now! Join us as we practice and strengthen our social skills during this great food experience.
Participants will practice:
Starting and maintaining conversations
Navigating social relationships during a new food experience
Understanding social expectations in public spaces
Bring $10 to contribute to food expense.
Open Mic & Karaoke Night @ The Hall on July 21st

Island-themed dinner & snacks provided! Bring flip flops and beach wear- swimsuits if you want to swim or dip your feet in the water.

For middle school through young adults, this night is all about showing up, feeling comfortable, and connecting without the pressure. Our Silent Disco creates a fun, low-stress space where they can move, laugh, and be themselves while naturally building confidence and friendships. Wear your party clothes and come ready for a great night.
